It is pretty much identical to the stock SV1000, but features Renthal handlebars and a single seat cowl.
I tested the SV1000S a few years ago, and although the engine lacks the ferocious bite of the old TL1000, it still offers 160mph performance and excellent handling too.
It lacks the kick-ass nature of, say, an Aprilia Tuono or a KTM Super Duke 990, but it is about two grand less – bit of a bonus!
Suzuki GB general manager, Steve Callahan, says: “The SV1000 has been a very popular model, and with a recommended retail price of just £5,650 on the road, and less than 150 SV1000 Classic models available, this really is a value-busting special edition Suzuki.”
