THE fourth edition of Manheim's Market Analysis report for Light Commercial Vehicles looks in detail at the impact colour can have on used commercial vehicle values.
On the surface, silver vans make more money at auction than white or blue vans. The low mileage smaller vans are more likely to be metallic silver as they will be worth more than an equivalent white van when it comes to disposal time.
At the larger panel van end of the market, however, Manheim is seeing a change in attitude towards silver.
