Malpas - Cholmondley Castle Garden

CHOLMONDLEY Castle Garden, near Malpas, Cheshire, between Tarporley and Whitchurch, is an extensive ornamental garden dominated by a romantic gothic castle built in 1801 of local sandstone.

There is a water garden, rose garden, picnic area, children's play area, plus large collection of rare farm animals.

   re: Cholmondley Castle. Your info omits to mention the very limited opening times! Went there on Friday to find that it was closed :(
