Emma segregated after Big Brother fight

OLDHAM born Big Brother contestant Emma Greenwood has been segregated from her housemates in the reality TV series after her involvement in this morning's fight.

The diminutive 20-year-old was at the centre of the violent scenes which kicked off in the early hours of this morning, and forced producers Endemol to temporarily cut the feed from the house.

Producers have sent her back to the bedsit hidden from the main house in the aftermath of the fight, with housemates left wondering where she is and if she will be thrown out.

And the housemates could face charges after it emerged police were called to the set of the show by concerned viewers during the brawl.

Whatever her fate, the fight - which started just two hours after Emma and Michelle Bass returned to the house from the bedist - marks the series' most troubled scenes to date.

Security was called in to seperate the housemates after aggressive confrontations and tussles between Emma, Victor, Jason and Marco which saw furniture destroyed.

Michelle and Emma had returned to the house live on Channel 4 last night as part of a surprise party, but the initial shock of their return gave way to explosive confrontation in the early hours.

Things came to a head around 1.30am as Jason confronted Nadia, followed shortly by long time adversaries Victor and Emma squaring off.

Restrained

The two had to be physically restrained by other housemates, with Victor being called to the Diary Room to keep them apart.

As things progressed Channel 4 pulled the feed on their interactive service and on the website, showing a loop of images from the house and birdsong while security were called in.

Emma has not been seen so far this morning, with housemates speculating on her fate. Big Brother rules do allow the show to evict housemates if they are too aggresive or violent towards other contestants.

Meanwhile the contestants involved in the controversial drunken brawl could face charges after the police launched an investigation into the show's events.

Hertfordshire Constabularly officers were called to the show's studios in the early hours of Thursday morning after calls from viewers concerned at the antics in the house.

The officers left after speaking to producers but have requrested a tape of the events, which forced the show off the air for an hour and required security guards to break up.

And after viewing the tape they could decide to bring charges against those involved.

The live episode last night picked up 6.3m viewers, with this year's series showing a higher ratings trend than Big Brother 4, and tonight's coverage is likely to top that.

Do you think Emma or any of the other housemates should be thrown out? Did you see the fight last night? Let us know what you think.

Emma should be thrown out of the house. She has proved herself to be too immature and of insufficient intellect to stay.

I think Jason and Victor should be taken out of the show as they cannot handle their tempers and are a risk to the others in the house and are total bullies. Keep Emma in the house.
