Big Brother 6: Kemal and Makosi still at loggerheads

19/ 7/2005

KEMAL and Makosi remain at loggerheads after failing attempt to work out their differences. The ex-best friends in Team Diva fell out when the belly dancer voted for the nurse to be evicted in last Friday's head-to-head with Vanessa.

Makosi spat out her dummy at Kemal's preference, while the latter continues to stew in paranoia about the "real" identity of the African queen.

The rift was confirmed when Makosi returned the stiletto-wearer's bangles and perfume.

A confused Kemal asked: "What did I do to you that was so wrong? Am I supposed to be sitting in a corner thinking about things?"

Makosi shrugged: "I'm a bad judge of character. It's sad that this happened."

Kemal said: "You have some issues".

"Oh do I? Glad you've noticed," Makosi sniffily replied.

Later, Kemal made another bid to ease the tension as the pair sat in silence.

He sighed: "This is how it's going to be if this is how you want it. We're just going to sit here like this or mope around not talking."

"Show me someone who's moping," Makosi replied innocently.

Kemal continued: "It's just sad for someone to discard a friend so quickly."

Referring to the returned items, he said: "It was symbolic of you wanting to cut off our friendship."

In the Diary Room, Kemal warned that the split would get nasty.

He said: "Together we're just hard work. It's a bad marriage and we're on the verge of divorce, and all I can say is the kids are going to get hurt.

"We're going to be fighting for possessions and I want that chaise longue."

Later, the warring housemates appeared to agree to a token truce when they conspired to hide Orlaith's make-up bag and finally embraced each other.

However, the peace was not likely to last with Kemal privately remaining adamant that Makosi was a "mole" contestant.
