This is a dusk view of the slip road from Downing Street, the A6 onto the Mancunian Way A57(M). Manchester City Council residential blocks by Grosvenor Street stand right next to the road. On the left is an empty adverstisement hoarding. (I resisted the temptation to paste in an advert for Eyewitness in Manchester!) The building it is fixed to is said to have an entrance to subterranean passageways under Manchester. This photo was taken in November 2001.
