The east block of Mill Point residential complex by the Mancunian Way is shrouded in scaffolding. In a week or two the building will be revealed. On the right is the roof of Mayfield Station, which between served as an overspill station to London Rd until it was closed to passenger traffic in the early 1950's. It may yet re-open.
