The Manchester Central Mosque is seen here on a clear night with the moon and Venus clearly visible. It had a pair of tall minarets but they were removed, apparently for safety reasons. Situated in the middle of Victoria Park, close to the 'Curry Mile' in nearby Rusholme, it plays a key role in Manchester's Asian community.
