The spire of St Matthews Church rises up above Edgeley in Stockport. We are looking from the car park of B&Q from the Lancashire side of the Mersey into Cheshire. A long flight of steps leads up from Hollywood Park. The scene appears virtually unchanged over the years. Only the parked cars tell us this is a contemporary view.
