The Magistrates Court had a life span of only a little over three decades.  Designed by architects Yorke, Rosenberg and Mardall* and opened in 1971, it suffered from many problems. Not long after completion, the exterior tiles started to fall off, and the building had to be covered in netting, which can be seen here.  Few will lament its passing, especially not those who appeared or paid parking fines here, but I'm sure those who worked here will have some positive memories of this building.
