Manchester City fans will fondly remember the Maine Road ground which was demolished during 2004.  MCFC now occupy the futuristic City of Manchester Stadium in the east of Manchester, but the older site retains cherished memories and associations for Blues fans. The site will be used for new housing, but there will be a memorial to its former use.
