Piccadilly Plaza is a building many Mancunians love to hate. It is at the top of many peoples' demolition X-list, but I like it. Demolition would be difficult and expensive due to its huge size.  Owners Bruntwood have decided to carry out a makeover on Piccadilly Plaza, including the hotel and tower, now renamed City Tower.  I hope they retain as many original features of the building as possible.
