The view from the top of the Maths Building looking towards the city centre is stunning.  But enjoy it while you can. By mid-2005 this viewpoint will be hanging in mid-air as the building underneath it will have gone. The building under construction in the upper left - with yellow sections and two cranes - will be the tallest residential tower outside London.  It will stand high above the Arndale, Portland, City (formerly Sunley) and CIS towers to the right.
