The new Next store is part of the new Arndale North development, nearing completion during 2005. A curved three storey glass and steel entrance faces the Urbis centre, echoing the curved corner of neighouring buildings.  The question is: Does this new architecture live up to our expectations and will it help to reinforce Manchester as a city of world significance?
