We are looking down on Oxford Road from the Maths Tower. On the right, the BBC building is foreshortened and made to look much smaller than it really is.  In a few years, BBC departments will be moving to Manchester from London, creating new opportunities and placing Manchester even closer to the heart of the UK media map. By then, the Maths Tower will be only a memory and you'll need a helicopter - or a carrier pigeon - to take this shot.
