| We are looking south along the
A6 Stockport Road towards Levenshulme United Reformed Church. Between
2001 and 2005, the green painted Emerald Cafe has changed into the red
painted Miami snack bar. Next door the pet shop Gay Lyfe continues under
the same name and branding despite social and semantic changes. The
other new element is the appearance of newer style black painted lamp
posts, replacing the earlier 'Manchester style' grey painted street
lamps. |
