When I took the photo of this disused newsagent I was convinced it would soon disappear.  For three years it has remained, still with the old style Evening News lettering, ads in the window, graffiti and delapidated Evening news ad boards underneath.  Only the awning has gone.

Shortly before I took this photo in 2005, metal fencing appeared around the building which looks as if it is about to be demolished.

EWM says: Maybe the shop front should be taken away, restored and put in a Museum of Manchester history?
