Granada TV offices, Quay St, Manchester Granada TV's office building and studio complex next to the River Irwell was among the first post-war building developments in Manchester and was completed in 1962 (architect Ralph Tubbs). The transmitter tower on the top is a distinctive feature. Many world-famous programmes, including Coronation Street and World in Action originate in this building. |
