709: Dickenson Rd/Birchfields Rd intersection January 1999

This is another of my "road intersection with map" composite images.

Birchfields Rd marks the border between Fallowfield and Longsight. Victoria Park begins a little further along Birchfields Rd, where the name changes to Anson Rd

The two rows of shop buildings on either side of the junction were built in 1923 and 1924 respectively.
