728: Jutland Street, formerly Junction St, near Piccadilly Canal Basin ©Aidan O'Rourke Feb98 and Feb99

This unique street retains many features of Manchester as it was in the 19th century. It was constructed down the side of a river vally to link the canal basin with Store St, which was built over a river.

This street was was drawn by L S Lowry in the 1930's. Change came in 1999, when construction of a new residential development began.
