Few people bother to look at the Indian style features on this building, which once housed the Lyons Popular Cafe, and was adorned with towers reminiscent of the Taj Mahal. Co-incidentally, the post-modern Sacha's Hotel just behind on Tib street has a tower similar to the ones which disappeared from this building many years ago.

I think this building, and the cafe which used to be here, ought to be fully reconstructed and restored.
