What makes Manchester unique?
First and foremost the people. From the person in the shop to someone quite influential, you can talk to them. You become a citizen of the whole place it's "cosier".

Is there anything about Manchester that could be improved?
There's an issue of safety. I've never had any problems, but it would be more attractive to people if it didn't have a reputation for being dangerous.

Which places in Manchester do you like to go to?
The shops on King Street, the bars on Canal Street, the beautiful restaurants - and the countryside's not far away.

Favourite photographers: David Bailey, Eugène Atget, Lee Friedlander

Recommended Manchester people:
Tom Bloxham. He owns Ducie House, where I'm based. He's helped to regenerate Manchester and provided some good places for people.
