Property Awards 06: The winners

HOW do you pick the best new homes built in this region over the past year? Well, it wasn't an easy task and the winners of the M.E.N. Residential Property Awards are exceptional examples of the very best that developers are producing.

Sponsored by Allied London, Manchester City Council and Rowlands Solicitors the Award winners were announced during a dinner at the new Hilton Hotel in the 47-storey Beetham Tower.

Host Kevin McCloud of Channel 4's Grand Designs praised the city's innovation when it came to development saying it set the benchmark for other towns and cities and urged developers to keep on pushing the boundaries of design and quality.
