Type in a postcode and it reveals a host of statistics from council tax bands to flood risk and the more info you have the better the decision you can make.
 
The website is easy to use and you don’t get bombarded with offers of mortgages or storage solutions.
 
It also shows you pending planning applications.

But don’t treat it as gospel, you still have to get council searches done and while Oftseds and league tables are useful nothing beats standing at the school gates.
