Born in 1831 in Salford,(S.ilk St),lived in Whitefield many years. Played in Besses Boys Band,& Prestwich Boro Band. Joined Coldstream Gds Reg;Band. Now retired after 33 yrs Victorla Police Force.Married 51 yrs, two chidren .son & daughter. Wish we had stayed in England.

Mt Clear, a suburb of Ballarat in Victoria Australia.
Where I come from:
Originally from Salford (Silk St) but lived many years in Whitefield.
What I miss most:
The Manchester & Salford people, they are just great and l''m proud to be one of them, plus good old Manchester tucker and of course the great United.
