Suzi's getting shirty for the football girls

A FOOTBALL mad student is making a business out of her hobby.

Suzi Wiseberg from Hale is combining her new enterprise, Match Fit Couture, with her final year degree studies at University College London.

Already qualified as a licensed football agent by FIFA, Suzi 22, is determined to forge a career in the beautiful game.

She has designed a range of light-hearted and flattering T-shirts for fashion-conscious female footie fans and is now busy promoting them at Manchester United games.

She said: "I have been going to Old Trafford with my dad since I was three and I love football.

"I had the idea for the T-shirts after getting fed-up with having to customise children's football shirts for me to wear because they were so baggy and unflattering, Admire

"Unlike their rivals Arsenal and Chelsea, Manchester United do not sell a women's shirt. People would come up to me at Old Trafford and admire the shirt that I had altered."

Enlisting family and friends to model her range, Suzi has been wearing her shirt to United games and handing out promotional flyers to other fans.

The range is not just for Manchester United fans - her slogan "Real women don't date ..." has been customised to fit the words: "Arsenal fans, Chelsea fans, Scousers, City fans AND United fans."

"I am thinking about doing something for the World Cup this summer," Suzi says.

After graduating this year in linguistics, Suzi, who believes she is the youngest female licensed football agent in the UK, plans to devote herself to her agency business.

"I already have one client, a Dutch goalkeeper, and when I have finished university I will build up my stable."

Suzi, who is the daughter of leading clinical negligence lawyer Ann Alexander, has also spent time building up her knowledge of the sports sector by working as a reporter for FS Sport during the Euro 2004 Championship.
