I'm sorry, says Kate Moss

23/ 9/2005

SUPERMODEL Kate Moss has issued a public apology after allegations of cocaine abuse and said she was taking steps to address her "personal issues".

The 31-year-old, in a statement released through her model agency Storm, said she took "full responsibility" for her actions.

She said: "I also accept that there are various personal issues that I need to address and have started taking the difficult, yet necessary, steps to resolve them.

"I want to apologise to all of the people I have let down because of my behaviour which has reflected badly on my family, friends, co-workers, business associates and others.

"I am trying to be positive, and the support and love I have received are invaluable."

Snorting

Her apology comes after pictures showed her allegedly snorting cocaine.

Moss has lost three lucrative modelling contracts since the allegations surfaced and other fashion companies are threatening to follow suit.

H&M and Burberry cancelled advertising campaigns and Chanel said it would not be extending her contract when it expires next month.

The model is facing possible criminal charges after Scotland Yard chief Sir Ian Blair personally ordered an investigation into the allegations.

Moss, who has a two-year-old daughter Lila Grace, could also face a social services investigation.

A spokesman for Westminster council said he could not comment on individual cases but added: "We would of course take seriously any allegations that any child might have been put at risk or is suffering neglect or physical harm."

Quote. Throw the first stone whoever is without sins!

Right, in that case I will have two with points a flat one and a packet of gravel.

Kate has let me down very badly over her nasal cold remedy but if you can get her to send me 50 quid we will call it straight, no more said.
