Stockport 0 Darlington 3

STOCKPORT suffered more misery as they sank to their second home defeat of the week.

Carlos Logan's 26th minute strike was followed by two late goals from Acpo Sodje and Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu to sink Chris Turner's side.

Early on a cross by Harpel Singh in the 25th minute found Tres Bramble in front of goal but the big striker's header was brilliantly saved by Darlington's six foot seven inch keeper Bert Bossu.

But against the run of play a clever ball over the County defence by the experienced Phil Stamp found Logan and the former Manchester City midfielder drove the ball past James Spencer.

Stockport responded by piling on the pressure in a one sided second half with Keith Briggs going agonising close when his left footed strike from 20 yards came back off the inside of the post and Bramble went close with an instinctive half volley that went into the side netting.

In the 84th minute Darlington's Simon Johnson broke from his own half, fed Ndumbu-Nsungu who smashed the ball home.

Within two minutes Neil Wainwright's cross was headed in by Sodje to give the scoreline a misleading look.

What now for Stockport? Have your say.

Nick of Wilmslow is right. At this time of crisis, where is Mr. Kennedy? Club chairmen root for their team every week, talk things up in the media - look at Dave Whelan and Wigan. The man's passion for the club is clear and consistent. The truth is, Mr. Kennedy - although not chairman - is still the architect of where we are now. Although he is a rugby man through and through, he now has a job to do - to speak up for and publicly get behind Stockport County.

Offensive or Inappropriate?

another bad result why not play a 4 3 3 system instead of 4 2 4 might be worth a try, also mr kennedy should help us out.
