Blues linked with duo

CITY are believed to be tracking Charleroi defender Mahamadou Kere and Feyenoord winger Romeo Castelen.

Blues scouts are understood to have watched Burkina Faso defender Kere in Belgiumin action for his Belgian club side, while Stuart Pearce will know all about 22-year-old Surinamese winger Castelen's ability because City have close links with Feyenoord.

Midfielder Kiki Musampa is being tipped for a switch to the Dutch club this summer if the Blues do not sign him permanently at the end of his loan spell from Spanish side Atletico Madrid.

What do you make of the potential moves? Have your say.

DJ, Chorlton - agree with you to a large extent. We have got one of the top three Academies in the Prem for the number of players that have broken into the first team (I'll ignore the Rags as their numbers include some Zimmer Framers from the Beckham era). Boro have the best in the Prem numerically. But look at the actual results this season. Boro are near us in the League but are still in the FA and UEFA Cup competitions. Their season still has hope whereas ours is over. So what's the difference? Boro have quality senior players to complement their youth lads eg Jimmy Floyd, Southgate, Viduka, Maccaroni etc. Where is that kind of match winning quality or experience in the City squad? It isn't there and I for one don't see any sign that that is going to change. I am dreading next season and expect another summer of frustration when it comes to transfer activity. Thatcher, Mills, Sibierski, Reyna, Musampa, BWP, Flood, Croft, Weaver should all go as they are either not good enough or too injury prone. As for signing Dickov again, much as we will be forever in his debt - it says it all about the Club's level of ambition.

Offensive or Inappropriate?

I would feel gutted to see musampa go, he's been at this club for only 2 years on loan, He won city's first game under SP so i say keep him i also think he is much better than riera, he's not lazy how is he lazy against Tottenham, he run his socks off, first games of 2005/2006 he was good and we were top of the league at 1 time this season, i couldn't believe we dropped him at one time this season and put in sunjihai why? so keep him don't go to feyenoord kiki!
