SHARON OSBOURNE has proved her competence at towing troublesome teenagers into line with her kids Kelly and Jack.

Now the X Factor judge has revealed what she would do to the bad boy of rock, Pete Doherty.

He needs a "good slap" and "locking down in rehab for a couple of months", Sharon told Attitude magazine.

"There's nothing harder to take than the truth. It's not hip to be in that state he's in. It's not cool, it's pathetic. I wouldn't take him on though - I helped Ozzy but that's because I loved him - I don't love Pete Doherty."
