Celebrity BB: Jodie favourite to go

SET TO LEAVE?: Jodie
SET TO LEAVE?: Jodie
JODIE Marsh is favourite to be evicted from Celebrity Big Brother after bagging eight nominations from her fellow housemates.

George Galloway and former pop star Pete Burns also face the public vote on Friday night after receiving four votes each.

Big Brother gave the housemates an 8am wake-up call to deliver the news.

Glamour girl Marsh took it badly, sobbing: "I expected it in a way but I'm still so shocked."

She added: "The one thing I didn't want was to be first out or even first nominated. It's hideous."

Marsh is a near certainty to get the boot on Friday, according to the bookmakers.

The glamour model is 1-3 to get ousted this week, with Galloway on 2-1 and Burns the 8-1 outsider.

Ladbrokes spokesman David Williams said: "The writing is on the wall."

Shamed

Marsh has made enemies of Galloway, Burns and shamed entertainer Michael Barrymore.

In the Diary Room, Galloway gave his reasons for nominating her: "She's a very troublesome element and a very troublesome person.

"She neither cooks nor cleans ... she's sexually obsessed of the crudest variety."

Burns said: "She seems like a loose cannon, a very damaged girl. I wouldn't p*** on her if she burst into flames."

Marsh has accused Galloway of being a "bully".

The Respect MP also faced criticism from Tony Blair today over his decision to appear on the Channel 4 reality show.

Asked on GMTV: "Would you fancy one of your MPs doing that?", the Prime Minister replied: "No."

And bookies are offering odds of 2/5 that Galloway will lose his parliamentary seat at the next general election.

The MP has enraged some voters in his east London constituency of Bethnal Green and Bow by abandoning his duties to enter the Big Brother house.

Paul Petrie of Totesport said: "This adventure has done George Galloway no good at all and it will definitely count against him when he is next up for election."

Meanwhile, Faria Alam is being forced to eat a wheelbarrow-full of spinach for the latest task.

Scientific

The housemates are taking part in a scientific experiment under the instructions of lab assistant Galloway.

Their first experiment was to test if spinach makes you stronger.

Unlucky Alam, the former FA secretary, was told she had to eat spinach every 15 minutes while wheeling the vegetable around in a barrow.

Another experiment tested whether or not classical music makes you brainy.

Traci Bingham and Jodie had to complete an IQ test while listening to it.

The Ordinary Boys singer Preston is now 2/1 favourite to win the show, toppling Barrymore.

Appearing on the show has also boosted the fortunes of his band - sales of their album Brassbound have risen tenfold since he entered the house, according to HMV's online music store.
