Hurley keeps mum over Hugh's wedding

SECRETIVE: Liz Hurley reveals nothing about Hugh Grant's wedding plans
SECRETIVE: Liz Hurley reveals nothing about Hugh Grant's wedding plans
Liz Hurley has dismissed media speculation that her ex-boyfriend Hugh Grant is about to marry Jemima Khan.

Miss Hurley, 40, who dated Grant for 13 years before they split up in 2000, said the actor and Khan had no plans to marry.

"I don't see him as much these days, but I do know that he's not getting married either, even though that has been written about in the newspapers," she told Grazia magazine.

"I think I would know if he was and I do know that he isn't."

Hurley said her boyfriend, Indian businessman Arun Nayar, accepted that Grant was her closest friend.

"He's a big part of my life and it hasn't been a problem with Arun. Hugh is my best friend and I can't imagine life without him."

The actress, who has a three-year-old son Damian by film producer Steve Bing, said rumours that she and Mr Nayar were getting married were a "myth".

However she refused to rule it out completely, saying she was "not against the idea".

In an interview for Channel 4 show Richard And Judy, to be broadcast tomorrow, she added: "As a matter of fact, we haven't got any plans to get married, but even my mother doesn't believe me."

Nostalgia

Hurley, who recently set up her own swimwear line, told the couple she had spent last month "full of memories and nostalgia" for the period when she dated Grant.

She said: "Through no other reason but sloth, Hugh and I only split up offices last week.

"And so I spent most of last month going through boxes and boxes of things like that photograph (from the Four Weddings And A Funeral premiere) and press cuttings over the last 12 years and all sorts of memorabilia.

"In fact I found a photo similar to that one, but nicer... I hadn't seen a photo like that for years and I thought `No, I'm going to keep this out because it's now nice to look back on'.

"So I've been full of memories and nostalgia."

She added: "We don't see a great deal of each other so much now because obviously we've got completely separate lives, and we've moved on with new relationships and families, but I still worship him - he's my best friend."

The interview will be broadcast on Channel 4's Richard And Judy tomorrow at 5pm.
