Celebrity BB: Can Jim fix it?

GUEST HOUSEMATE: Sir Jimmy
GUEST HOUSEMATE: Sir Jimmy
THE Big Brother celebrities find out today which of their wishes will come true, courtesy of temporary housemate Sir Jimmy Savile.

The 79-year-old former broadcaster, who once made children's dreams come true on Jim'll Fix It, has been brought into the house to grant the wishes of a few of the housemates.

The presenter was welcomed with open arms by the 10 remaining contestants on the Channel 4 show on Saturday.

He arrived in his trademark red tracksuit and gold chain to whoops of delight from the pack of celebrities.

"I have a violent nature, but you have nothing to fear from me," Sir Jimmy said as he shook basketball player Dennis Rodman's hand.

"You feel good?" asked shamed entertainer Michael Barrymore, to which Sir Jimmy replied: "Indestructible".

"I'm here because I thought you might need something fixing", he added, to which fake celebrity Chantelle piped up: "I've got an earring that needs fixing."

Cigars

With cigars and two cans of baked beans tucked under his arm, Sir Jimmy informed the group that "a good Royal Marine always travels equipped".

Later, he told the women contestants: "A red-blooded man like me can't stay here overnight with girls like you in here, I'd get three months in the slammer."

The celebrities were set a task of trying to stay in cardboard boxes for as long as possible yesterday.

To help them, each was given a survival kit containing a water flask, cake, compass, torch, disposable camera and a flag.

But some of the celebrities could not keep still, with Barrymore eager to be on the move once he was inside.

"What do we take pictures of?" asked actress Rula Lenska while Chantelle screamed: "It's tiny!"

After just a few minutes, singers Pete Burns and Preston were out of their boxes and Rula went on to win the task.

Glamour model Jodie Marsh was the first housemate to be evicted on Friday night - the next one will go on Wednesday.
