Celebrity BB: Shock nominations twist revealed

SET FOR THE BOOT?: Traci
SET FOR THE BOOT?: Traci
TRACI, Rula and Maggot were today revealed as the next housemates to face the public vote after Big Brother sprang a nasty nominations twist on the celebrity group.

George Galloway and Preston were called into the diary room and told they were to be punished for breaking house rules by discussing nominations the day before.

But, unbeknown to them, footage from the diary room was being streamed to the rest of the group on the plasma screen.

The two were close to tears when it was later revealed everyone had heard their comments.

"As punishment, you must nominate three housemates who will automatically face the public vote," Big Brother told the pair.

"First I would like to apologise for breaking the rule. I was het up at the time," said George, before nominating Traci.

"My reason would be that she created a very bad incident that need never have arisen," he explained as a flustered Traci began to flit around the dining area in confusion.

Ostracised

Agreeing with George's choice, Preston added: "She also ostracised herself from the group."

Preston picked Maggot as the second nominee. "Maggot said something earlier which I would thoroughly disagree with. He said 'let's play the capital cities game' which I interpreted as 'let's make Chantelle look like a muppet' game."

Finally, George proposed that Rula be the third nominee. "Mine would be Rula on the basis that she's trying too hard, in fact said that she was now going out to win."

After George and Preston left the room determining to tell the others they had simply been punished it was revealed to them that everyone had heard their comments.

The pair had to spend the next hour trying to appease Traci and Rula, who were both obviously hurt and upset at the comments.

Rula said she was disappointed by George saying she was "going out to win".

"This is a horrible situation for anyone," she said.

Preston told Maggot he nominated him for the most stupid reason, but it "was fresh in my mind".

Chantelle

Chantelle said this was the nastiest thing Big Brother has done.

Earlier ex-FA secretary Faria Alam became the second person to be evicted.

The model, famous for her fling with England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, was nominated by other housemates alongside US basketball star Dennis Rodman and Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns.

As she left the door to face the crowd she was booed by onlookers.

In an interview with Davina afterwards, the 39-year-old, who received 45.2 per cent of the votes cast, admitted that she found it "hard" telling other housemates about her past.

She said: "It was very hard because you are talking about people who are actually talented. I wasn't in there for a talent."

As members of the audience sniggered at this answer, she jokingly told them: "Shut up you lot. I know what you're thinking."

She added: "It was very difficult at the time and putting myself in that situation when I knew that everybody else had something to add to this."

The model also told Davina that she did not think of herself as a celebrity, saying that she thought she was "infamous" rather than famous before appearing on the show.

"I have been infamous but now I'm famous because I've been on this," she said.

Later, when asked if she thought Sven had voted for her to be evicted, she replied: "I don't think that he gives a toss."
