Celebrity BB: Highs and lows

ENJOYING THE MOMENT: 2006 winner Chantelle
ENJOYING THE MOMENT: 2006 winner Chantelle
TAKE a look back at the highlights of the various series of Celeb BB so far, here:

:: In last year's show, non-celebrity Chantelle Houghton won the title, beating runner-up Michael Barrymore following his return to the limelight.

:: Chantelle also found love on the show, and eventually tied the knot with fellow contestant and Ordinary Boys singer Preston.

:: Respect MP George Galloway signed up for the fourth series to air his political views but ended up making a fool of himself.

:: Galloway's highlights included doing a robot impression in a skin-tight leotard and getting down on his hands and knees to pretend to be a cat lapping imaginary milk from Rula Lenska's open hands.

:: Dead or Alive singer Pete Burns sparked controversy over his 'gorilla' coat in the fourth series. He was interviewed by police when he left the house, but the offending item turned out not to be made from gorilla but Colobus monkeys.

:: In the third series, plastic surgery addict Jackie Stallone was unleashed on her unsuspecting housemate, daughter-in-law Brigitte Nielsen.

:: Happy Mondays dancer Bez went on to win the series which also featured racing pundit John McCririck, Germaine Greer and actor Jeremy Edwards, after gaining 54% of the final viewer vote.

:: Feminist academic Greer, who once said watching Big Brother was "about as dignified as looking through the keyhole in your teenage child's bedroom door", was a surprise signing, but quit after just six days.

:: In CBB2, Les Dennis went into the house during his very public break-up from his actress wife Amanda Holden.

:: The comedian's bizarre behaviour included talking to the Big Brother chickens about the state of his marriage and while Holden came to wish him luck at the start, she was not around to greet him on his eviction.

:: Comedian Jack Dee beat former Brookside actress Claire Sweeney to win the first ever Celebrity Big Brother, in aid of Comic Relief.
