BRANDED: Diana believed to be stupid by Lagerfeld

FASHION designer Karl Lagerfeld has branded Diana, Princess of Wales, "stupid", and lavished praise on the Duchess of Cornwall.

The Chanel designer said the public did not know the real Camilla, who was sparkling and witty without being pretentious and the right choice as a second wife for the Prince of Wales.

"She was pretty and she was sweet, but she was stupid," he said of Diana in an interview with New York magazine.
