ENGAGED: Pete
CELEBRITY Big Brother star Pete Burns has announced his engagement to his boyfriend live on air.

The Dead or Alive singer and Michael Simpson got engaged earlier today, and bought identical diamante skull design rings.

Pete, 46, recently divorced his wife of 20 years Lynne, but the couple have remained friends.

The pair showed off their identical Vivienne Westwood engagement rings on Channel 4's Richard and Judy show.

Right eye

Michael appeared to be sporting a swollen dark circle around his right eye.

Pete said: "We've been together in a former life.

"I lost him a lifetime ago and I've been looking for him ever since. He's a physical part of me."

The acid-tongued singer said of the jewellery: "It symbolises that underneath all this there is bone and underneath that is soul."
