Royal girlfriends making mark in sexy poll

The pair are giving Zara Phillips, a long term favourite in the annual list, a run for her money.

Current front runners for the number one spot are Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba, and Britons Cheryl Tweedy and Kelly Brook.

But FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World has taken a royal twist this year.

Prince William's girlfriend, Kate, and Prince Harry's girlfriend Chelsy have made it into the top 100.

FHM editor Ross Brown said: "Our readers have a soft spot for Zara - she often does well - but to see Chelsy and Kate sneak into the 100 was a bit of a surprise.

"The poll has been getting around 10,000 votes a day and the two of them have already changed places at least twice, but one of them now seems to be on a bit of a roll.

"I won't say which, but fair play to Harry and William: they've both definitely got an eye for the ladies.

"Chelsy and Kate are looking like they could steal the title of 'sexiest royal'."

Zara is currently ahead of fellow royal Princess Beatrice, and IT girl and Celebrity Love Island star Lady Isabella Hervey.

So far 500,000 votes have been cast in the poll of the world's most beautiful women.
