Geri: Names I plan for my baby

GIRL POWER: Geri
GIRL POWER: Geri
FORMER Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has spoken about her pregnancy for the first time and revealed she wants to call her baby Leonardo if it is a boy.

The 33-year-old told Hello! magazine the baby had her own "turned up nose already".

She said the first scans showed "something that looks more like a potato than a little person", adding: "I thought that I was carrying Potato Halliwell."

The singer, who is seven months pregnant, said she is set on being a disciplinarian mother and if she has a girl, she would like to name her Stella.

Adopting

Geri, who admitted she sings Carpenters' ballads to the unborn baby, said she had considered adopting before discovering she was pregnant.

She said all the Spice Girls had been supportive, especially Victoria who had given her the ponchos she wore during her last pregnancy.

Geri did not name the father - thought to be scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi, 39 - of her child, but said she wanted the pair to have a close relationship.

The former ambassador of Girl Power said the baby was a "happy accident".

She told the magazine: "I'm just hoping this child is more angel than devil's child. To think that it might one day be going to the equivalent of the raves I went to, or driving away my car without permission the way I took my dad's is horrifying."
