MANCHESTER United legend Eric Cantona is high on the wish list of producers working on a French version version of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

Granada International has sold the format to French broadcaster TF1 with filming due to take place in Brazil this spring.

Paris-born Cantona, who is 40 in May, is one of a number of famous French names being approached about taking part.

Rainforest

Known at Old Trafford as "Eric the King", he would have to spend over two weeks in the rainforest to win the same title in the jungle.

Since quitting football, Cantona has pursued a film career and appeared in commercials.
