Johnny's shameful tooth. . .

JOHNNY Vegas was all smiles as we caught him ahead of an appointment with a dentist in Manchester yesterday. I hear the comedian has not been in a dentist's chair for 10 years, so I'm not sure how much of a smile he will have had when he left the practice, on St Ann's Square.

We snapped Johnny, back on TV screens this week as lovable rogue Moz in the BBC's Ideal, as he was enjoying a crafty cigarette, left, before his appointment.

But if he wants to get pearly whites like the lady in the poster here, he might want to consider quitting his tooth-staining nicotine addiction.
