Fergie watches Nolan

16/ 2/2006

SIR Alex Ferguson was at the Reebok Stadium on Wednesday night, fuelling speculation that the Reds are eyeing a move for Bolton midfielder Kevin Nolan.

The 23-year-old, who has scored nine times this season, was again the driving force as the Trotters drew 0-0 with Marseille.

Reports have suggested that Ferguson has identified Nolan as the long-term successor to Roy Keane in the United engine room.

However, Nolan has been valued at up to '10million and is contracted to Bolton until 2009.

Should United go for Nolan? Have your say.
