Lacrosse: Thomas treble

TEENAGE attacker Thomas Gosnay has quickly proven that age is no barrier in the North of England Lacrosse League premier division.

Gosnay hit a hat-trick as leaders Stockport scored a 10-3 victory at home to Boardman & Eccles, their seventh win on the spin.

Joe Singleton (2), Richard Wilson (2), Nathan Singleton, Chris Bland and Keith Gosnay, Tom's father, were also on target.

Timperley held their nerve to clinch a 9-8 victory away to Manchester Waconians. Lee Warburton (2), Ben Hutchinson (2), Andy Brickell, Will Sandy, James Shuttleworth and Rob Macklin got the goals.
