Live flight information plus useful information about the airport is found on the airport website at www.manchesterairport.co.uk

The airport has its own rail station located at the heart of the Airport complex.  It is connected to the national rail network, with two new spurs from the Manchester to London mainline giving travellers direct access to the Manchester city centre, Scotland, Liverpool, Yorkshire, the Midlands and many other towns around the country.  Manchester Airport has a national coach and local bus terminus and taxi ranks, with connections to nearby towns.  Many hotels have courtesy buses.  It is intended that a Metrolink extension will eventually conntect the city centre to the airport, via Chorlton and Wythenshawe.  For travellers arriving by car there are over 20,000 spaces within the long and short stay car parks on site.

Car park information: 0161 489 3723.

Hotels on the airport site range from five star to budget, for hotel reservations: 0161 489 2063 or 0161 499 0284.
