FOUR in five people return from holiday keen to change their lives when they return home.
Learning a new language, going "green" and spicing up their cooking head the list of post-break good intentions, the survey from the Jamaica Tourist Board found.
Two in five of those aged over 40 plan to learn a new language on their return from holiday and 39% of all those surveyed pledge to take more interest in environmental and global issues.

More than one in three plan to cook food from the country they have visited, with Yorkshire people the most keen on culinary experiments.
Nearly one in five of people nationally plan to take up an activity such as sailing, climbing or trekking on coming back from a break, while 9% intend to do some charity or volunteer work.
Those living in the South West of England are most keen to learn a foreign language once back in the UK.
Jamaica Tourist Board regional director Elizabeth Fox said: "What is encouraging to see is the passion and interest Britons have for their travels and the positive impact that holidays are having on people's lives.
"Brits are keen to strike a balance, not only in where they go, but also how they adapt their daily routine to encompass a more global, environmentally friendly and open-minded lifestyle."
