FACTFILE for a golfing holiday in Austria.

Crystal Lakes and Mountains (0870 403 0543 or crystallakes.co.uk) offers holidays to Kitzbühel and prices are from £395 per person in the 3 star Hotel Edelweiss, including return flights from Manchester to Innsbruck, transfers and seven nights half board accommodation.

Golfing: There are four courses in the immediate area and another 18 within an hour's drive.

The three main courses for Kitzbühel are: Schwarzsee (18 hole, par 72, green fee £48), Eichenheim (18 hole, par 71, green fee £55), Rasmushof (9 hole, par 54, green fee £20).

Schwarzsee and Eichenheim require proof of membership of a UK club and handicap and players must wear soft spike shoes.
